Meet Rob North
Rob North has always been a builder and a fixer. Rob started off his journey as a US Marine Veteran, later tried his hands as a journeyman. Wanting to continue working with his hands, Rob found a way to turn his passion into a career.
Rob quickly carved out a niche for himself, taking the world of Do it Yourself, DIY, by storm and making home improvement affordable and accessible to all.
In his projects, Rob breaks down home repairs and improvement, inspiring his audience to follow his motto, “If you can’t find a way, make a way!” Simply, as he states after every project, “…and that’s how you get it done!”
Rob has built a large TV and Internet based following as a finish carpenter on HGTV’s Designed to Sell, partnering with Ty Pennington for the Sears American Dream Campaign, which involved extensive community outreach and youth development. Rob was recently nominated for an Emmy for his work on ”The People’s Poker Table”, a DIY video that was 100% driven by the audience.
Rob’s goal is to empower his audience by “giving away the trade, “ and revealing the secrets of these projects by taking them through a step by step process unlike any other DIY method. His viewers are his friends …he tells the trick of the trade as if he is talking to his longtime friend. Together the viewer and Rob is, “Getting it Done!”
